The Examination Board
The Examination Board of Knightsbridge House International School (KBH) shall have the responsibility to develop examination and assessment procedures for KBH, including but not limited to —
(a) the security of examination scripts and answer scripts;
(b) the conduct of examinations and assessments;
(c) the duties and responsibilities of invigilators and markers;
(d) the moderation of examination and assessment marks; and
(e) the handling of appeals from students with regard to examination or assessment matters.
Mr. Gan Chin Huat (Chairman of the Examination Board)
Mr. Gan Chin Huat is currently the Executive Director of Knightsbridge House International School.
He has more than 30 years of public and private education experience.
Mr Gan holds a Master’s degree from Harvard University, a Bachelor of Arts degree and a Bachelor of Social Science degree with honours in Economics from the National University of Singapore, and a Post-Graduate Diploma in Education from the Institute of Education, National University of Singapore.
Mr Gan was formerly Zonal Director at Schools Division, Singapore Ministry of Education, School Cluster Superintendent and Principal of Dunman Secondary School. He is an advisor to several educational groups and private schools in the attainment of EduTrust certification and SSG licensing, establishment and management of K-12 schools, development of school programmes and the conduct of training for school leaders and teachers.
Datuk ir. Khairil Anwar Bin Ahmad
Datuk Ir. Khairil Anwar bin Ahmad holds a BSc. in Civil & Environmental Engineering from University of Wisconsin-Madison, USA, an MBA in Strategic Management from University of Strathclyde, Glasgow and was most recently awarded a prestigious Honorary Doctorate of Civil Law from Newcastle University, UK. He is also an Adjunct Professor at the School of Civil Engineering, Universiti Teknologi Malaysia. In addition to his professional qualifications he is a registered Professional Engineer with the Board of Engineers Malaysia.
Datuk Khairil has more than 30 years experience in senior management and extensive experience as a board member of publicly listed companies. He was the President / Chief Executive Officer of Iskandar Investment Berhad Malaysia and currently is an Independent Non-Executive Director of SP Setia Berhad, Director of UTM Holdings Sdn Bhd and Director of Knightsbridge House Malaysia Sdn. Bhd.
Dr. John Edward Fearon
Dr. John Edward Fearon has wide education management experience in the United States, Singapore and Malaysia. Dr Fearon has a BSc (Physics) and an MSc and a PhD in Tertiary Physics Education. He is also a registered Professional Engineering Technologist (Pr. Tech. Eng.). Before embarking on an academic career he spent thirty years in industry as an engineer. In his academic career he has experience as a high school science teacher, a technical college lecturer, a university physics education researcher, and an international schools administrator. Most recently he has been as an administrator of international schools in Singapore and Malaysia most notably Invictus International School (Singapore) and Repton International School (Malaysia).
Ms. Jennifer Margaret Mills
Ms. Jen holds the following academic qualifications:
Graduate Certificate of Educational Leadership, Edith Cowan University. Master of Education, Sydney University.Graduate Diploma of Arts, Sydney College. Diploma of Teaching, Milperra College.
Ms. Jennifer Mills has 30+ years of experience in Education predominately in international settings. She has wide-ranging teaching and management experiences in diverse cultures including Sydney, London, Beijing, Dublin, Manus Island (PNG), Greece, Seoul, Myanmar, and Qatar. Her most recent role sees her in the cosmopolitan city of Singapore as The Head of School at Knightsbridge House International School.
Prior to joining KBH, Jennifer served as Principal at Invictus International School, Dempsey, Singapore, and before that, she was the Primary Head at Myanmar International School of Yangon, Myanmar. Jennifer enjoys the challenge of coming to understand the people and society. She’s looking forward to working with the teachers to build a dynamic, creative, collegiate campus and continue to look for ways to make KBH a special place for the students and the families.
