World Children's Day

CELEBRATING WORLD CHILDREN’S DAY AT KBH!

Happy Children's Day to all our students!

Today our students had fun and games galore on campus. The excitement was palpable, as we welcomed celebrity visitors to entertain us such as Super Mario, Barbie, Iron Man, a Chinese Empress, the original Material Girl, Viking and Samurai warriors, to name but a few!

But did you know that there is a deeper meaning to all this frivolity? In fact, World Children’s Day was created by UNICEF back in the 1950's as an annual day of action for children, by children. From climate change, education and mental health, to ending racism and discrimination, children and young people are encouraged to raise their voices on the issues that matter to their generation while calling for adults to create a better future.

This is the day all children get the opportunity to think about their future and ask adults to empower them to make the world a better place for a better future! Let's go KBH Kids!!
