FOR THE 2024/2025 ACADEMIC YEAR THIS WILL BE PROVIDED AT NO ADDITIONAL COST TO REGISTERED DAILY BUS USERS.
COST PER ECA (excluding swimming) IS $30 ($32.70 including GST) AND IS PAID FOR BY THE TERM.
Sports
Students of all ages will enjoy this ECA. Students will develop soccer skills including dribbling, kicking, heading and goal shooting techniques.
Open to boys and girls of all ages who love the beautiful game.

Floor Gymnastics club is for our younger students. This club aims to boost students bodies overall fitness, improving agility, flexibility and muscle strength. Open to all ages.
Venue: KBH Campus (Einstein Hall)
Badminton is a fun, active sport which is an easy game to practice with minimal rules. Badminton boosts your muscle strength and improves blood flow rate which is good for your heart. Apart from physical health benefits there are mental advantages of playing badminton too. Apart from all the health benefits, badminton is a fun game to learn to play!

Welcome to the KUNGFU KIDS, where adventure and excitement meet! Our club is the perfect place for young warriors to dive into the thrilling world of martial arts. With each class, kids will not only master cool moves and self-defense techniques but also boost their confidence, discipline, and teamwork. Led by our energetic instructor, every session is a high-energy journey filled with fun challenges and achievements. Join us and watch your child unleash their inner champion while having a blast!

The health benefits of yoga are well known. Taking time to listen to your body in a calm environment gives kids the opportunity to de- stress through physical movements that strengthen body and mind.
Children will learn poses such as Volcano pose, Mountain pose, Growing flower pose and the Feather activity.

Basketball club aims to allow students to learn fundamental skills of playing basketball in terms of technical and tactical skills. Other than knowledge of basketball, students will also get to know the importance of fair play, honest competition and good sportsmanship amongst team members and opponents. Open to all ages.

Art, Culture & Music
KBH's Music Club focuses on cultivation of musical talent and an interest in music playing and singing. Students will participate in various musical activities throughout the term and develop a rich array of musical skills. The Music Club will become an integral part of KBH and the students in this club will be called upon at school concerts and performances where performing groups are required to sing or perform.
Music Club is inclusive as no prior music experience is required - you just need to be able to keep the beat and enjoy singing.

Art provides students with a dynamic platform for creative expression and exploration.
Through various mediums such as painting and sculpture, students delve into their imagination, honing their artistic skills and nurturing their unique perspectives through the use of paint or oil pastels.

Creative Fingers Craft Club gives our students the opportunity to develop their creativity and explore the world of craft and craftsmanship.
Students will learn the techniques and hand-making skills required to create practical and decorative objects in materials such as wood, clay, textiles, metal and stone. Students will gain an understanding of why it’s important to retain traditional craft skills, and how new technologies, techniques and materials are evolving these traditions, ensuring they remain relevant in the modern world.

Drama Club is designed for students interested in learning more about performance. Drama club includes learning stage terminology, working on acting skills, set building, costumes/makeup design and creating props as well as acting and performance.

Coding & Technology
Developing hand-eye coordination with Minecraft and engaging our creativity. The focus is on creating projects that run over multiple weeks.
We will be using the Minecraft education version.
We will also have challenges, for example. We are building real-life structures in the Minecraft world. Open to all ages.

BBC micro:bit programming will help students learn coding with MicroPython.
More specifically, students will use the BBC micro:bit, a microcontroller that contains external LEDs, an accelerometer, a magnetometer, and three tactile push buttons to write programming codes.
Students will build futuristic projects from A to Z, developing valuable coding skills as well as fostering creative thinking.

Languages and Learning Support
This ECA is designed for advanced students who are at intermediate to advanced level of Chinese. This club will challenge our more advanced Chinese speakers in reading, writing, speaking and listening.

Beginners and new to Mandarin, join the Chinese Beginner Club to start your journey with Mandarin in a fun and supportive environment! We provide basic vocabulary, phrases, and conversation skills, along with opportunities to explore Chinese traditions and festivals.

The Math's Club aims to give opportunities for our students to arouse students' interest in Mathematics so that they can become confident in using mathematics to analyse and solve problems both in school and in real life situations. It's an opportunity to train students in logical thinking skills which will be put toward upcoming Maths Assessments, such as SASMO, which the school will be participating in this year.
It's open to all ages and the content will be differentiated for each participant. If you have an interest in extending your mathematical ability, or just love numbers, this is the club for you.

Ever dreamt of writing stories with sensational vocabulary? If so, this club is for you! This ECA offers a tailored-made programme to help students create well written stories that will please the fussiest of teachers! This ECA provides engaging strategies to support fundamental phonics/spelling that extend and support creative writing.
Open to all age students who want to share their flair for writing and so amaze their teachers by how well they can write stories that are sure to impress!

Phonics ECA is for our younger learners. It is designed to enhance early reading skills. Students will strengthen their phonemic awareness and develop a strong foundation for reading. This ECA is catered towards students who need extra phonics support, or for EAL students who are new to reading and writing in English. We will start with the core sounds, moving on through the phases of Jolly Phonics.

This club is designed for Japanese children who already have a working knowledge of Japanese. It is a 3 day a week club so that Japanese mastery can be achieved.
The students work from the textbook “Let’s say and Write Japanese Words” and use the Conversational Japanese Language for Beginners. Depending on how advanced each student is Mr Keng teaches from the appropriate syllabus.
Assessments at the end of the term form part of the process of gaining an understanding of how much progress has been made over the term

This ECA is designed for intermediate swimmers. This group will learn stroke correction, breathing techniques and increase stamina through sustained lap swimming. Only children who have confidence in water and are no longer considered beginner swimmers may join this ECA. Swim coach from Delta will teach the children stroke, breathing and aqua safety.
